Social Responsibility at Paperblanks

Giving back and social outreach have always been part of the Paperblanks ethos. We contribute to a diverse range of local and international programs and agencies that each, in their own way, help to improve the world around us. Whether donating journals or raising money for a local organization, we are active in helping people, causes, and organizations that align with our core values.

Product Materials and Environmental Information

Considering the environmental impact of doing business is important to use, which is why the binder boards of our books are made with 100% recycled materials. We are continually seeking methods to improve our environmental footprint, such as our introduction of new tote bags made from recycled plastic bottles in Fall 2026.

Every product label includes material information specific to that item to help you make an informed purchasing decision.

Workers rights

Our suppliers are held to the highest standards and fulfill the Sedex Ethical Trade requirements, ensuring their workers’ rights are protected.

In addition to protecting the rights of workers in the factories we work with, we strive to maintain a positive and supportive internal culture, with a healthy work-life balance.

Paperblanks employees receive generous health benefits, vacation days (including Christmas break), a hybrid work schedule, and rebates for healthy living choices (e.g., bike to work programs or gym allowances), as well as company-sponsored volunteerism days.

SA8000 (Social Accountability Management System Standard):

Relates to the empowerment and protection of all personnel who provide products or services relating to the production, printing, processing, and service of office stationery.

ISO 9001:

An international standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system, demonstrating that the supplier has processes in place to provide quality products and services.
